2002: Gründung der Band „Tetanus“ mit 6 Musikern.
2003: erstes Konzert (no covers).
2004: Tetanus wird zu „Aeywaeg“, erste CD „äiwäg“ in Eigenproduktion erscheint im Oktober, 1000 Stk werden innert ein paar Monaten ausverkauft. Daraus ergibt sich erster Plattenvertrag.
2006:  im Februar geht die 2. full length CD „mi Wäg“ in den Handel. Aeywaeg sind nun 5 Mann stark.
2007:  im März schieben die 5 Musiker bereits das nächste Album nach.
2009:  Aeywag wagt eine live CD „live im Tell“ und verkauft innert kurzer Zeit 1000 Stück davon.
2010: das neueste Werk der Band heisst „lost vibes for the future“ und ist ausschliesslich in englischer Sprache gesungen. This is it !!!

In der Zwischenzeit gab die Band ca 70 Konzerte und entwickelte sich zur echten live–Band und… zum Geheimtipp!

Bemerkenswert an dieser Band ist, die Vater – Sohn Kooperation. Aber auch ohne diese familiäre Verbundenheit sehen sich hier zwei Generationen vereint. Diese Tatsache garantiert für weit reichende, musikalische Erfahrung, sowie die Vereinigung klassischer und moderner Elemente. Die Band schreibt ausschliesslich eigene Musik und Texte in englischer Sprache sowie Mundart. Jeder von ihnen hat vorher in verschiedenen Bands gespielt, zum Teil während vielen Jahren. Aeywaeg feilt laufend an seinem Sound, um dessen Wiedererkennungswert zu steigern. Bei grösseren Gigs tritt Aeywaeg mit zusätzlichem Gitarristen und Background Chor auf.

2002:  founding of the band named „Tetanus“ consisting of 6 members.
2003: first concert (no covers).
2004: Tetanus renamed to „Aeywaeg“, first CD „äiwäg“ produced by the band is released in October, 1000 copies sold out within few months resulting in first record contract.
2006: in Februar 2nd full length CD „mi Wäg“ goes on sale. Aeywaeg is reduced to 5 members
2007: in March of that year the band releases next album.
2009: Aeywag dares the recording of a live album „live im Tell“ selling a 1000 copies within a short period of time.
2010: the latest and most thoroughly planned CD is called „lost vibes for the future“ and is entirely sung in english. This is it !!!

One of the most remarkable aspects of this band is the father–son cooperation found here. But even without this very special attribute you find here two generations united. This fact guarantees for far reaching musical experience which allows for classic as well as modern elements melting into the songs. The band is committed to writing exclusively their own music and texts. Each one of the members has played in former bands, some even for many years. Aeywaeg is constantly improving their sound in order to increase its uniqueness. At larger gigs Aeywaeg is accompanied by an additional guitar player as well as a choir with 3 singers
